In early 2023, Zoom updated its chat features to include a standard Shift + Enter keyboard shortcut, as many other apps use! They’ve also added features like threads, emojis for messages, and animated emoji reactions.
Now if I could only get them to not rearrange my screens in an unpredictable and unhelpful manner …

Of course, it’s NOT Alt+Enter or Shift+Enter as you’d expect, like every other app 🙄
The correct shortcut keys are Control+Enter to insert some refreshing clean space into comments, instead of the usual wall of characters we’ve all tolerated before.
